Javier Servín uses the special technique of the "esmaltes realzados" leaving the decoration painted on the surface of his products of high temperature ceramics. Especially on his dishes and bowls the paintings on both sides have an exceptional acuteness. He won more than 20 national and international first
prizes in the past years and is one of Mexico`s most outstanding artists.
The time for baking these extraordinary pieces is 5 to 7 hours at 1260° C.
